I’m an aunt – jeg er blevet moster

The Danish term Moster is closer to home than the wider English term Aunt. Moster means mother’s sister, whereas Faster means father’s sister.

I’ve waited many years to become an aunt and surely it had to happen now, when the North Sea is between me and my new nephew!
